In order not to miss the highlights of Honfleur, your guide will lead you through this delightful town, to discover cobbled quays and alleyways which contribute to Honfleur’s unique character. Admire the old quarters of the town as well as St. Catherine’s church, which is the largest wooden structured church in France built by the inhabitants of Honfleur in the late 15th century to replace the original church destroyed during the Hundred Year War.
After the walking tour and lunch, the tour will continue to Deauville via the scenic coastal road. This resort is THE in-place of the international jet set and home of the American Film Festival.
Deauville was created in the late 19 century by the Duke de Morny, half brother of Napoleon III. It is today the closest sea resort to Paris and is nicknamed “21st district of Paris”.
Chic and fashionable, Deauville boasts a famous casino, a racetrack, a polo ground, a marina and miles and miles of white sandy beach.
